BATON ROUGE - An investigation is underway into an overnight house fire in Baton Rouge.

It's the second time crews responded to a blaze at the home in the 9500 block of Cal Rd.

Around 2:30am Monday St. George firefighters went to the home to find it mostly in flames. It was brought under control within 30 minutes.

On Sunday night just after 10pm investigators say a meat smoker started a blaze at the same home. It started under the overhang of the carport then spread to the attic causing severe damage.

There are no reported injuries in either fire.

The cause of the second fire is unknown at this time.
