Hotter with scattered storms this afternoon

We will have a hotter afternoon thanks to more sunshine than we had yesterday, but we will still have to dodge scattered thunderstorms. Some of the storms could be strong with heavy rain. High temperatures will be in the lower 90s.
Some storms will linger into the evening with partly cloudy skies. Temperatures will be in the lower 80s.
The storms will dissipate overnight with a few clouds sticking around. It will be warm and muggy with lows in the lower 70s.
