A ridge of high pressure will build over the Southeast U.S. today. This will clear out all of the rain we had the last few days, and we will start to dry out. A stray shower can't be ruled out, but the chance of rain is only at 10% today. Otherwise, it will be partly cloudy and hotter with highs in the lower 90s.
It is going to be a very pleasant night with mostly clear skies. Low temperatures will fall to the upper 60s as the drier air moves over the city. This will be a nice treat for late August!
