You can expect another very hot and humid afternoon with partly cloudy skies as an area of high pressure remains over the Southeast U.S. We will have some isolated showers and thunderstorms popping up as some of the rain spirals up from disturbance in the Gulf of Mexico. High temperatures will be in the mid 90s and the heat index will be 100 to 105.
The storms will continue into the evening hours and will dissipate after sunset. Then we will be left with some clouds and temperatures falling into the 80s.
It is going to be warm and muggy tonight with partly cloudy skies. Low temperatures will be in the mid 70s.
