A cold front will be slowly moving into the Baton Rouge area from the north and that will help to set off isolated showers and thunderstorms with partly cloudy skies. A few storms could become strong with heavy rain, hail and gusty winds. It will be unseasonably hot with highs in the lower 90s.
Some showers and storms will still be around this evening with temperatures in the lower 80s.
It will be mostly cloudy with a spotty shower or two overnight with muggy conditions. Low temperatures will fall into the mid 60s.
