BATON ROUGE - Animal control officers seized several horses today in an animal cruelty investigation in Baton Rouge, and want to bring charges against their owner.
Animal Control Director Hilton Cole said today that his office had received complaints about the horses being malnourished, which were pastured on property near 9908 Elm Grove Garden.
Cole said the horses were brought to their facilities today to be checked out by a vet, and that he wanted the owner of the horses arrested.
