Hornets' Paul severs relationship with agents
Chris Paul has cut the ties that has handled his marketing and basketball contracts since he entered the
Octagon basketball managing director Jeff Austin, who negotiated Paul's current four-year, $68 million contract with the New Orleans Hornets, confirmed on Thursday that Paul has ended his five-year relationship with the agency.
Austin says Octagon wishes Paul continued success in his career.
Paul, who can opt for free agency in 2012, did not comment on the matter.
