Chris Paul has cut the ties that has handled his marketing and basketball contracts since he entered the
NBA.

Octagon basketball managing director Jeff Austin, who negotiated Paul's current four-year, $68 million contract with the New Orleans Hornets, confirmed on Thursday that Paul has ended his five-year relationship with the agency.

Austin says Octagon wishes Paul continued success in his career.

Paul, who can opt for free agency in 2012, did not comment on the matter.
