Honeywell to expand operations in Louisiana
GONZALES - Honeywell Performance Materials and Technologies announced today that it will expand its operations in Louisiana.
Company President and CEO, Andreas Kramvis joined Governor Bobby Jindal to present the plan.
The company says it will invest $208 million at facilities in Geismar, Baton Rouge and Shreveport.
Officials promise 42 new jobs with an average salary of $68,300.
Honeywell says it is considering even more expansion in Louisiana.
The company says if it goes ahead with a proposed 10 year expansion plan, it would bring the total investment to $1.2 billion and a total of 291 new direct jobs.
