Homicide called to scene after bloody man found on the ground
BATON ROUGE- Homicide investigators will take over after a man was found bleeding on the ground off Staring Lane Monday night.
Police had little information as of this post, only a few minutes after they responded to a call on Cedar Lake, an area with a history of violent encounters.
In 2012, a man was shot to death in broad daylight a block away from where authorities were responding Monday. Police arrested a man in that case.
More information on the latest incident should be released overnight or Tuesday. Check back for updates.
