Homeowner rescued from burning house
BATON ROUGE- A homeowner was rescued from a burning house in Baton Rouge.
Officials say a fire broke out in the back of a home on North 39th street just before 8 p.m. Neighbors were able to save the homeowner from the blaze before firefighters arrived.
There's still no word on what started the fire, but crews were able to contain it. The homeowner was treated at the scene for unknown injuries.
Red Cross is assisting the family.
