Thousands flocked to the malls Saturday to take advantage of some major post holiday sales. Some stores offered discounts as deep as 75 percent off.
"Retailers are wanting to get rid of the excess merchandise," said shopper Nicole Baker, "and after a day with family you want to go out and go shopping."
Many folks returned unwanted items, while some opted to pick out their own presents using gift cards. A few retailers told News 2 business leading up to Christmas was the busiest it's been in years.
