Authorities arrested a 44-year-old Holden man accused of computer-aided solicitation of a 13-year-old girl.
The Livingston Police Department reported Friday that Franklin Dale Church was parked near the girl's home sending messages to her from his cell phone as well as his laptop computer.
According to Saturday's Advocate, Livingston Police Chief Randy Dufrene says some of the messages were sexual in nature.
Dufrene says Church was attempting to convince the girl to meet him at a baseball field in Livingston. Instead, police officers met the man there and arrested him after a struggle.
They said Church was booked with computer-aided solicitation of a minor and three counts of resisting arrest.
