GREENSBURG- The Livingston Parish School Board president accused of a hit in run that killed a man in Saint Helena Parish didn't have his day in court as planned.

Malcolm Sibley, 66, was supposed to have an arraignment in Saint Helena Parish, but it was postponed because the judge who was hearing cases today isn't the judge presiding over Sibley's case.

Sibley is accused of hitting C Iasigi and leaving the scene back in June on Highway 43 just outside of Greensburg.

State Police say the 21-year-old and two others were arguing before the truck they were in stopped and parked on the highway. Iasigi got out of the truck and was hit when when Sibley crashed into it and kept going.

Cody Iasigi's family isn't happy with the way this case is going.

"I think anyone would have stopped that morning. Something was going on for you not to stop. What was going on? Our family needs to know something," said Janet Bennett.

Sibley will be back in court on Feb. 21, where he's expected to plead no contest.

The 66-year-old is still serving as president of the Livingston Parish School Board.
