Hill named Outback Bowl MVP
TAMPA, Fla. - LSU's Jeremy Hill was named MVP of the Outback Bowl after he racked up 216 rushing yards and two touchdowns in the Tigers 21-14 win over Iowa.
Hill carried 28 times during the game, averaging 7.2 yards per carry. He rushed four times for 87 yards in LSU's (10-3) final drive of the game, including the final touchdown.
Freshman quarterback Anthony Jennings also rushed for a touchdown, but only threw for 82 yards. He was filling in for Zach Mettenberger, who was injured in the Tigers' last regular-season game.
