Louisiana has a surplus of four year college graduates and a growing demand for workers with vo-tech or community college levels of training.
State labor leaders told a higher education commission today that more resources needed to be placed into those systems.
Forecasts say Louisiana is not alone. They indicate the U.S. will not be able to fill 30 million jobs in the next 20 years.
