A Louisiana higher ed commission is recommending tougher admission standards for four year universities.
Members of the Postsecondary Education Review Commission say the change will improve graduation rates. The commission wants the standards changed by 2012.
The Board of Regents would be responsible for developing the new policy. The commission will give all of its recommendations to the Legislature by Feb. 12.
