WBRZ - Baton Rouge

ASCENSION PARISH- At least four roads are being monitored for high water and have been closed.

Deputies set-up barricades to warn drivers the water is too high to cross.

The following roads are believed to be impassable:
Black Bayou at Roddy Road
Duplesis at Beaujohn Road
Hwy 73 at Renaissance Road
US 61 at Hwy 427, the southbound turn lane

According to the Weather 2 team, the rain and some thunderstorms will become more widespread tonight. Rain will become heavy at times.
