UPDATE 5:44 p.m. - All lanes are back open after this incident.

BATON ROUGE - An afternoon downpour blocked several lanes of traffic along I-110 South in Baton Rouge, according to traffic officials.

High water blocked the right and center lanes on I-110 South at 21st Street. Traffic was still able to pass in the left lane.

The queue from the lane blockage stretched back to Chippewa, according to DOTD's Baton Rouge Traffic Management Center.
