SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) - The Shreveport-Bossier Sports Commission has been awarded the 2016-17 Louisiana High School Athletic Association state wrestling championships.
The LHSAA executive committee voted 13-5-2 on Wednesday in favor of the commission's bid to host the event at the CenturyLink Center (14,000 seats) during the next two Februarys.
