Heavy traffic delays in Ascension expected through next week
DUTCHTOWN – Parish officials warn that drivers in Ascension Parish should expect heavy traffic delays starting Monday until further notice on La. 73 near the Dutchtown area.
Officials say students for St. Amant High School and Dutchtown High School will be attending classes at Dutchtown High due to last week’s historic flooding. Drivers should expect delays during the following times:
6 a.m. to 8 a.m.
10:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
4:45 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Traffic officials said drivers should also expect delays on Highway 30 through next week near the Lamar Dixon Expo Center due to Phase 2 of DSNAP registration
