We begin this Lundi Gras with scattered showers and thunderstorms as a cold front moves into Baton Rouge. Some could be strong with gusty winds and have heavy rain. Temperatures are in the 50s.
The cold front will stall just south of Baton Rouge this afternoon. This will allow the scattered showers and thunderstorms to continue. More heavy rain is possible and the NWS has continued the Flood Watch through Tuesday Afternoon. High temperatures will actually be in the upper 60s this morning and then they will slowly fall during the afternoon.
Scattered showers will continue tonight as the front remains stalled along the Louisiana Coast. More heavy rain will be possible. Lows will be in the lower 50s.
