Heavy congestion after wreck on I-10
BATON ROUGE - Traffic officials closed I-10 East after a wreck past Highland Road during the afternoon rush.
State Police said the wreck was located three miles past the Highland exit and blocked all eastbound lanes, but traffic was still passing on the shoulder.
Traffic backed up in both directions of I-10 after the wreck. At 6 p.m. DOTD reported traffic was bakced up on I-10 East to Siegen Lane from the crash site, and on I-10 West traffic was congested past LA 73.
There was no word on any injuries.
