PRAIRIEVILLE - The Gold's Gym on Airline Highway in Prairieville took a beating during Tuesday's storm but was back in business Thursday evening.

Images of the mangled mess at the gym were among the first images we received Tuesday. The gym still doesn't have a roof, but reopened Thursday evening for Spin and Adrenaline classes and will reopen the rest of the equipment Friday at 4 a.m.

After how bad things looked Tuesday, employees can't believe they're back at work already.

"I'm just estatic that we were able to get back up in the gym within 48 hours," Deshae, a supervisor at Gold's Gym told News 2. "It's just a blessing we were able to get in here tonight and exercise."

The National Weather Service confirmed an EF-0 tornado moved across Airline Highway near the location of Gold's gym. News 2 obtained jaw-dropping security video from a nearby auto shop that shows debris flying and cars shaking furiously.
