ROME- People who use a soup kitchen and hostel in Rome will benefit from the sale of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle given to Pope Francis.
The tank on the motorcycle is signed by the Pontiff and will be auctioned off in Paris.
The auction house noted the Pope's "preference for modest modes of transport" and will also auction a Harley-Davidson 110th anniversary leather jacket, size XL, signed by Pope Francis.
The money from the sales will benefit Caritas Rome, a catholic charity.
The Pope uses a Ford Focus to get around rather than fancier cars owned by the Vatican.
