Hearing for Lafayette counselor set

A former Episcopal school counselor accused of a federal sex crime will likely ask to be released from
the Iberia Parish Correctional Center at a detention hearing next week.
Psychiatrist Dr. Allison Hargrave is accused of using e-mail to entice a minor to engage in sexual activity.
She was then arrested on that charge at the Pine Grove Behavioral Health and Addiction Services in Hattiesburg, Miss.
The detention is scheduled for July 7, and trial is set for August 9.
