Hazmat crew on scene after 18-wheeler crash in WBR Parish
WEST BATON ROUGE PARISH - Louisiana State Police say a Hazmat crew is on the scene of an 18-wheeler crash on I-10 West to monitor clean up and recovery efforts.
The crash happened at milepost 144 between Port Allen and Rosedale. While all lanes remain open, motorists are experiencing heavy delays when traveling through the area as crews are still on the scene.
State Police advised motorists to remain vigilant and use caution around the emergency crew members working to clear the wreck.
There is no word yet on the wrecked big rig was carrying.
