Harris talks about win over New Mexico State
LSU had three turnovers and seven points on their first three possessions under starting quarterback Anthony Jennings.
Since then the Tigers have punched it into the endzone on seven straight with quarterback Brandon Harris at the helm.
The LSU offense has chewed up yards and points with relative ease since the 9:28 mark of the second quarter when freshman quarterback Brandon Harris was inserted into the game.
Since taking over Harris has led the offense two scoring plays on every possession as the Tigers mixed the run and the pass en route to a 56-7 lead moving into the fourth quarter.
Harris is 11 of 14 passing for 178 yards and three touchdowns. He added a rushing score at the goalline.
Tiger tailback Leonard Fournette has been a steady asset in the game as well, he has 122 yards on 18 carries and two scores.
