A cold front will exit our region to the southeast today. The sensible weather behind this front calls for a clearing sky, a northwest breeze and resulting cooler air than what we felt yesterday afternoon. Look for highs to occur during the morning hours, in the middle 50s, and then cool to the middle 40s during the afternoon. High pressure will settle in from the north and lead to a clear, calm and thus very cold night. A *HARD FREEZE WARNING* has been issued from 12am - 8am Wednesday for West Feliciana, East Feliciana, St. Helena and Tangipahoa Parishes along with Wilkinson, Amite and Pike Counties. Be sure to cover sensitive plants and care for your pets. Most locations are expected to bottom out below freezing. High pressure will remain to our northeast on Wednesday keeping the area sunny and dry, but chilly.
