GROSS TETE - Officials say the Grosse Tete Bridge has been shut down Friday evening due to a malfunctioning barrier.

According to the Iberville Parish Council's Facebook page, the bridge is closed to traffic until further notice. Crews are now heading to the bridge to fix the problem.
