Gray's 25 leads LSU to 82-60 win over UMass
BATON ROUGE - Josh Gray scored a game-high 25 points, and the LSU Tigers played their best game of the young basketball season to beat UMass 82-60 Tuesday night at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
"(I was) just trying to run my team and you know lead my team to get w's," Gray said.
"I just feel like every night it's my job to go out there and make those guys better so that's my main priority to do and I just had a good night tonight."
Jordan Mickey added 16 points and 10 rebounds - his 6th double-double of the season - after missing the Tigers' previous game because of an ankle injury.
The Tigers (5-2) now travel to West Virginia, where they will take on the 16th-ranked Mountaineers Thursday night.
