Graphic testimony during feticide hearing
LIVINGSTON - A Livingston Parish court heard disturbing testimony today before a judge revoked bond for a man accused of cutting his unborn child out from his wife's body.
The judge agreed to revoke Jeffrey Reynolds' $500,000 bond for feticide and attempted murder after hearing investigators testify about his 911 call on Oct. 23, 2012.
A sheriff's deputy testified that Reynolds told 911 dispatchers he had smoked "herbal incense" and was "going insane." He then put the phone down and began attacking his wife, during which investigators said he was overheard wishing his wife would "hurry up and die."
Reynolds told reporters as he was being led away from the courthouse that he still loved his wife and child, and asked people to pray for him and his family.
News 2's Brittany Weiss will have more details from the hearing tonight at 5 and 6.
