Grape drink death
SURGIONSVILLE, TENNESSEE- An autopsy shows a five-year-old girl died from being forced to drink more than two liters of grape soda and water and her father and his wife are charged with murder.
Alexa Linboom was brought to a hospital emergency room by her father, blue and unresponsive.
The autopsy showed she had severe brain damage since the massive intake of fluid caused her brain to swell and herniate.
Her father, Randall Vaughn and his wife Mary, are now in jail on half-a-million dollars bond each.
The investigation showed the girl was forced to drink the liquids over a one to two hour period as punishment.
