BATON ROUGE - A 22-year-old man accused of raping two women in the Tigerland area of Baton Rouge was indicted by a grand jury on Wednesday.
The State Police Crime Lab linked Isai Efrain Garcia-Vazquez to the crimes with DNA evidence, according to BRPD.
Garcia-Vazquez was indicted on two counts of forcible rape and one count of second-degree kidnapping, according to the East Baton Rouge District Attorney Office.
When he was arrested in June, investigators said the man met his victims at a local bar in Tigerland before taking them to a remote location on River Road and raping them. The crimes took place in June of 2014 and July of 2013.
His bail remains set at $100,000.
