Governor Bobby Jindal will hold a press conference at 11 a.m. to discuss preparedness efforts for Hurricane Ida.

News 2 will carry the press conference live on WBTR Channel 19.

On Friday, Governor Jindal declared a state of emergency for the southeast coast of the state in anticipation of Tropical Storm Ida.
