BATON ROUGE- Governor Bobby Jindal says there are urgent needs along the coast that must be addressed immediately.
He announced plans to spend $12 million dollars to re-establish oyster beds and stabilize the coast. BP would reimburse the state at some point in the future.
Jindal and other coastal leaders say the oil company has stalled negotiations in the months after the Deepwater Horizon spill.
Some say BP should follow its campaign promise to, "make it right." Others say it's a shame the same state and local leaders have to take action nearly a year after the spill.
