Governor commutes sentence of man doing life at Angola
ANGOLA- The governor commuted the sentence of a man at the state penitentiary serving time for a murder in Baton Rouge years ago.
Shelby Arabie was in prison for life but will now only serve 45 years. He has completed about half.
Governor Bobby Jindal said Arabie is a model prisoner who has put his life on the right track. Arabie leads Angola's reentry program in auto repair and welding.
