U.S. Seantor Harry Reid of Nevada got an endorsement he probably didn't expect to get in his bid for re-election. One of the state's most influential Republicans over the last 40 years reluctantly chose Reid over GOP candidate Sharron Angle. Reid's race for re-election has been the toughest of his political career because of his approval of President Obama's policies and a state economy that's in the doldrums.
