Google and Samsung teamed to build and sell a lightweight laptop with a price similar to smaller tablet computers. It'll sell for $249 and will run on an operating system connected to Google's Chrome Web browser. The laptop doesn't have a hard drive and will run like a terminal dependent on an Internet connection to get information and applications stored in large data centers. Its Google's latest challenge to the Windows operating system used in most personal computers. It goes on sale next week.
