Gonzales waterways flooding
GONZALES - Residents in Gonzales continue to brace themselves for severe flooding after a number of homes have reported water damage.
"I didn't think it was going to be this much rain," said Bradley Amorello.
Pumping stations in Ascension Parish have been on since Tuesday evening, but waterways continue to flood.
"Thank god it stopped raining last night, it went down about a foot," said Amorello. "Hopefully the pumps keep pumping good and we won't get no more water out here."
Fire stations in Ascension Parish have sand and bags available for those who need them.
