GONZALES – Gonzales Police announced Thursday that investigators have identified the man accused of stealing a weed trimmer and pressure washer from a local Walmart recently.

Police say arrest warrants have been issued for 37-year-old Tobe Bergeron, of Gray, for two charges of theft from a Gonzales Walmart.

Police say on June 22 Bergeron took a weed trimmer worth $167 from the store. At the time, security camera footage showed him wearing an embroidered dark-colored work shirt.

Two weeks later on July 5 police said he returned to the same store and stole a pressure washer worth $234. This time he was wearing another dark-colored shirt, and police said he left in a 1996-2000 Honda Civic that was missing hubcaps on the driver's side.

Anyone with information pertaining to Bergeron’s whereabouts should call Gonzales Police at (225) 647- 9572.
