Gonzales PD look to ID accused credit card thief
GONZALES - Police asked for the public's help identifying a man who used a stolen credit card on July 4 at a convenience store in Gonzales.
The victim said they were not sure where the card was stolen from, but said their account history shows a total of five unauthorized transactions posted to the missing credit card.
One of the charges on the card, in the amount of $52.50, was from the transaction at the Gonzales convenience store last Friday morning.
The man accused of using the stolen credit card is shown on surveillance footage as he exited the store and leaving the scene in a white Infiniti FX.
Another individual leaving the store in a dark colored Chrysler is believed to be connected to the crime but remains unidentified.
Anyone with information regarding the suspect or the vehicle is urged to contact the Gonzales Police Department at (225) 647-9572.
