Gonzales man dies in motorcycle crash
BATON ROUGE - One man is dead after a crash involving a motorcycle in East Baton Rouge Parish early today.
It happened around 6 a.m. in the area of 18100 Petroleum Drive.
Deputies say 61 year-old James Dunn, of Gonzales was headed east, when he hit the back of a vehicle that came into his path. Dunn was ejected and was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
The driver of the vehicle, 24 year-old Jerrick Treyon Sim was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison for Negligent Homicide and Failure to Yield.
Impairment is not suspected with either driver.
