Golden Band hosts year's biggest fundraiser tonight
BATON ROUGE - The Golden Band from Tigerland wants you to join them Wednesday night for the 34th annual Tigerama. News Two's Rebecca Buchanan visited the New Tiger Band Hall on 2une In to give you a sneak peak of the concert.
"If you enjoy all the sights and sounds of Tiger Stadium then you'll certainly enjoy Tigerama," says band director Roy King.
This is the band's biggest fundraiser of the year. It's key to providing scholarships for future members of the Golden Band. It includes performance by the LSU Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Winds and Tiger Band, featuring the Golden Girls, color guard and LSU Cheerleaders.
Tigerama starts at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday night at the PMAC. There's also a VIP reception beginning at 5:00 p.m. For tickets, visit the LSU Tigerama website.
