NEW ORLEANS - Friday's "Good Morning America" will welcome back host Robin Roberts, who's currently in New Orleans ahead of the Super Bowl.
Roberts, a Mississippi native who left the show to deal with a rare blood disorder, tweeted a photo today of herself with members of Southeastern Louisiana University, her alma mater.
Roberts had to undergo a bone marrow transplant in September to treat her disorder, which she revealed to viewers on the air in June. Her sister, a New Orleans TV anchor, donated the marrow for the procedure.
GMA's show will be live in New Orleans Friday morning for their Super Bowl "Tailgating" special.
