Glenmora man in wheelchair killed in accident
ALEXANDRIA - Alexandria police say a Glenmora man who was crossing a street in his wheelchair was struck by a car and killed.
The Town Talk reports Anon Ross was pronounced dead at the scene Saturday night.
Police say the car's driver said she heard a loud noise and stopped her vehicle. Police say the noise was the sound of the vehicle striking the wheelchair.
No charges have been filed in the accident, which remains under investigation.
