Girls intercepted while trying to join ISIS
DENVER, COLORADO- Three girls from Denver were intercepted by the FBI in Germany trying to travel to Syria and join ISIS.
The FBI says agents brought the girls back and they are safe and reunited with their families. The U.S. Attorney's office is being tight-lipped about details.
The FBI didn't identify the girls or give their ages but it comes a month after 19-year-old Shannon Conley, also of Denver, pleaded guilty to conspiring to help militants in Syria.
