Authorities in Gadsden, Alabama charged a grandmother and stepmother for the death of a 9-year-old who died after having to run as punishment. Joyce Hardin Garrard and Jessica Mae Hardin are charged with murder. Savannah Hardin was made to run for lying and investigators say the incident went on for three hours. Her stepmother later called authorities saying the girl was unresponsive and she died on Monday. An autopsy found she was dehydrated.
