Girl, 7, fighting for her life after near drowning
BATON ROUGE - Officials tell WBRZ that a 7-year-old girl nearly drowned but is still fighting for her life in Baton Rouge.
It happened at around 8 p.m. at an apartment complex on Nicholson Drive near Gardere Lane Saturday night.
Emergency crews say the girl wasn't breathing when they found her, but they were able to get a pulse before taking her to the hospital. She's still in critical condition.
