SAN FRANCISCO - The streaking Giants will be gunning for a fourth straight victory tonight when they host the wild card-leading Braves.

San Francisco has opened up a three-game lead over second-place Los Angeles in the NL West. The Dodgers are 1 1-2 games behind St. Louis in the race for the second wild card entering their home game against Miami. Atlanta is 2 1-2 games ahead of the Cardinals heading into their outing in San Francisco.

Also tonight in the NL, Milwaukee plays at Pittsburgh, New York hosts Houston, Washington is at Philadelphia and Arizona is home to San Diego.

Today's action gets started this afternoon in Chicago, with a game between the Cubs and Colorado Rockies.

Three teams are tied for the second AL wild card ahead of this evening's action. Baltimore, Oakland and Detroit are 2 1-2 games behind Tampa Bay and 2 1-2 games better than Los Angeles. Tonight, Tampa Bay hosts Oakland, Detroit is home to Los Angeles, Baltimore entertains Toronto, New York plays at Cleveland, Boston is home to Kansas City, Minnesota is at Texas and Chicago hosts Seattle.
