BATON ROUGE - The average price of gasoline increased 3.3 cents a gallon last week in Baton Rouge. The price at the pump runs about $3.80 a gallon; the national average is approximately $3.91. Prices in Baton Rouge last week were 20 cents a gallon higher than compared to the same time period last year. Gas prices in the hardest hit areas have finally shown signs of relief with gas prices falling now in Chicago as well as California.
